Welcome to WB Ad Manager - the new launch site

We split the WB Ad Manager landing page off of store.wbcomdesigns.com and into its own home at wbadmanager.com. Here is what changes and what stays the same.

WB Ad Manager has been a Wbcom Designs plugin for years. The store page lives at store.wbcomdesigns.com/wb-ad-manager and is the canonical place to buy a Pro license, browse changelogs, and read the docs.

What was missing: a site that explains what you can do with the plugin, not just what it has. Buyers do not search for “ad manager plugin.” They search for “how to cloak affiliate links in WordPress” or “how to sell ads on my niche blog.”

wbadmanager.com is the journey-first home for those questions.

What lives here

  • Six monetization playbooks - each one covers a specific monetization path (affiliate cloaks, direct sponsor ads, self-serve advertiser platform, paid classifieds, AdSense + direct hybrid, full-stack publisher). Setup, pricing, common pitfalls, ship checklist.
  • Video walkthroughs - first batch publishing soon

The split lets each site do its job well. Sales pages on the store. Journeys + tutorials + blog on wbadmanager.com. Same product, two surfaces.

What is changing in WB Ad Manager 2.8

The plugin you can install today (v2.8.0):

  • Self-serve advertiser dashboard in Pro - members can sign up, top up credits, build campaigns, and run them against your inventory. You set the rate card. Reddit / Facebook self-serve model on WordPress.
  • BuddyPress group ads in Pro - group admins promote their own groups using their credit balance.
  • AdSense + direct rotation improvements - the AdSense fallback now correctly waits for AdSense to fail before showing the house ad.
  • Classifieds module ships in free (was Pro-only previously).

What is coming

  • Video walkthroughs for the six playbooks (first batch publishing soon)
  • Newsletter sponsorship plugin module (current Pro covers display + classifieds + self-serve)
  • More monetization playbooks based on what readers ask for
