In this tutorial you will know what ad space you have, who fills it, and keep a record of changes. You need WB Ad Manager and WB Ad Manager Pro. It takes about 5 minutes. Five steps. Read Slot Inventory. Sort ads into Ad Folders. Read the Audit Log. Look at Tools. Then set fair Ad Rotation. As advertisers grow, it gets hard to know what space is free, who owns what, and who changed a setting. Inventory, folders and a log keep it all clear, so you can sell with confidence. Step one. Read Slot Inventory. Every slot on your site is listed, such as Header, Footer and After Paragraph. Overview shows what fills each slot. Impression Audit checks what was really served. Step two. Sort ads into Ad Folders. Each advertiser has a folder, and House ads has its own. Click a folder, such as Brightleaf Coffee, to see only that advertiser ads, with their Campaign and Tags. Step three. Read the Audit Log. Every approval, change and charge is recorded, with the User, the Date and the Details. The tabs filter by Advertisers, Campaigns, Classifieds and Packages. A question about who changed what has an answer. Step four. Look at Tools. Tools holds Import Demo Data, which fills a test site with sample ads and advertisers. Use it on a test site, not on a live one. Step five. Set fair Ad Rotation. With several advertisers in one slot, Enable Rotation shares impressions between them. Rotation Model and Reset Period choose how the share is worked out and how often it restarts. That is all five. read Slot Inventory, then sort ads into Ad Folders, then read the Audit Log, then look at Tools, then set fair Ad Rotation. You can now do this job on your own site. Next in this series: Brand the emails and add an Ads tab.
