In this tutorial you will take sponsor requests and handle links that have expired. You need WB Ad Manager, the free plugin. It takes about 4 minutes. Three steps. Read Partnership Inquiries. Sort the requests. Then choose what an inactive link does. Sponsors write to you from everywhere, and old links keep sending readers to dead pages. Keep every request in one list, and send expired links somewhere useful, so no reader or sponsor is lost. Step one. Read Partnership Inquiries. A form on your site lets sponsors ask to work with you. Every request lands here. Each row shows the Contact, the Website, the Type and the Budget, so you can judge it quickly. Step two. Sort the requests. The tabs split them into Pending, Accepted, Rejected and Spam. Actions lets you accept or reject each one. Spam keeps junk out of your way. Step three. Choose what an inactive link does. In Settings, the Link Cloaking section decides what a reader sees when a link has expired. Show a 404 page, send them to your home page, or to a page you choose, so no click is wasted. That is all three. read Partnership Inquiries, then sort the requests, then choose what an inactive link does. You can now do this job on your own site.
